If each circle has a radius of 5 cm, calculate the area of the shaded portion

  1. ....21.5 sq.cm....{ 100 sq cm - (22/7 x 5cm x 5 cm = 78.5sq.cm }.Each circle quadrant is equivalent to 78.5 sqcm divided by 4.Since 4 quadrants are enclosing the area in Q .Total Quadrant area is tht of the full circle .Also the area subtending both these 4 quadrants & the Q area is a square of 100sqcm area. Hence deducting the 4 quadrant areas within this square area of 100sqcm leads to the balance Q area....of 21.5sq.cm...!!!

  4. Unless they are working in the medical profession and are likely to come in contact with blood/wounds of patients, I see no reason to restrict them. There may be an underlying anxiety that they might transmit the virus through sexual indiscretion.

  5. ...Tnx...I also feel....due to the "sexual indiscretion" angle the Gulf Countries r rejecting their cases...at their native land, the quacks r minting money by promising Sero Negativity of HbsAg rapidly nd urgently....Bangladesh ,infact demographically the entire Eastern Region of Undivided India the disease processes r well entrenched : climate, Economics, ignorance r all responsible....otherwise a fertile, land of abundance why it should be subjected to invading diseases....though the base was solid for a thriving civilization the tools for a more oriented civilization were missing tnx to the laid back easy going approach....is it true thn adversity paves the way for a better civilization wherein the forefathers had to trudge the extra mile a living....???...interesting parallels can be drawn frm contemporary civilization & the Disease Process...!!
